The author of this book, Leopoldo Canetoli, had the luck of being able to discover this up close, held by hand by one of the greatest engineers of the 1970s (and beyond): Mauro Forghieri, known to everyone as "Furia".

To tie them together, a project with a short but evocative name: "Lambo 291". Lambo in fretta e Furia traces its incredible history. From continuous journalistic criticism to the building phase, from the blank sheet to the car on track, from the initial tests to participation in the F1 World Championship. All in the space of three years between design, testing and participation.

A fascinating and incredibly short adventure, which took place at a time that saw the arrival of first computers and new technologies that also revolutionised racing.

The Lambo was the last single-seater designed by engineer Forghieri, but its legend continues today to leave its mark on the minds and hearts of four-wheel enthusiasts.
