Supplement to bulletin No. 4/84 of the Italian Fiat Register, dedicated to the Turin coachbuilders who played such an important role in the success of Fiat cars.
We read between the lines: 'Without the great industry of Turin, most of the coachbuilders would not have had the opportunity to express their creative genius; likewise, without the innovative and, why not, cultural contribution of the coachbuilders, Fiat would offer a more anonymous and certainly less universal portrait of itself'.
As in an old family album, we can thus 'revisit a little of the history of Fiat cars, from Alessio's first romantic horseless carriage to Vignale's gritty 8V, from Balbo's torpedo to Bertone and Pininfarina's great classics'.
Sixty black and white images complete the text.
