"Maserati 100 anni magnifici", the volume is made from Penne Mario Semproni specially to celebrate the centenary of the historic and prestigious car.
It may seem strange, but the myth Maserati has a deep connection with the capital, in particular with the Marquis De Diego Sterlich. Founded in Bologna on 1 December 1914 by Alfieri Maserati and two of his brothers, Ettore and Ernesto, it was the noble Diego de Sterlich one of the most prominent supporters of the birth of the brand Maserati. Family friend and lover of cars, the steering wheel Marquis, so it was renamed because of his achievements in motor racing, it had an essential role in the early days of the Trident.
De Sterlich financed in the twenties of the last century the business project of the Maserati brothers and made possible the creation in 1926 of the first car of the Trident, a race car for the Targa Florio called Type 26.
Investments of De Sterlich also allowed the brothers Maserati to buy ten Diatto 30 Sport, marking the start of production of Maseratis.
