The book retraces the history of the glorious Conca d'Oro rally, a gravel race that has seen several champions of this discipline, among them the most famous is undoubtedly Tommi Makinen, winner in 1989 with a Lancia Delta Integrale, perhaps the most exciting edition and made even more spectacular by the performance of the funambulist and future World Champion, at that time almost unknown to the sporting chronicles.

Eight years after the last edition, the author, Franco Vintaloro, who stopped being the promoter of the race, has collected the history of the 33 editions in this book.
The complete results and a short chronicle of each edition are included, with over 250 photographs.
