Rally delle Alpi Orientali 1956-1978 retraces the first twenty-two years of the competition, from when it was still run on a regularity basis, up to the arrival of the big names, the Italian Championship and the then very popular Mitropa Cup.
The editorial composition of the volume is deliberately without comments and simple: large format, easy and captioned contents.
Each edition, starting with that of 1956, is described with the entry list, the classifications, and a series of beautiful full-page period photographs. Each of these bears a small caption at the bottom with the name of the crew.
