This book, published in 1994, by John de Boer, with contributions by some of Italy's leading experts, is an interesting compilation of makes and models of Italian road and racing cars, including chassis and engine numbers and the names of the first owners. There are also some sections on coachbuilders.
All the major racing cars are featured - Abarth, Cisitalia, Ferrari, Maserati, OSCA, Stanguellini - with their models, chassis numbers and footnotes on owners, changes, noteworthy events etc.
Although it has not been updated since its publication date, it remains a useful and valuable source of information.
The Italian Car Registry has 352 pages.
