Narrated, however, from the point of view of an enthusiast who was able to follow the various stages of creation at close quarters, this faithful chronicle takes on more the tones of an epic about a team that never took a step back in the face of difficulties, stubbornly pursuing a goal that, in the eyes of a European or, better still, a westerner, might at times seem as improbable as masochistic.
And yet, discreet presence and observer of a team in which she has never stopped believing, Yoko Tagashi describes it to us in the emotional tones that a mother would use to describe her child's odyssey, emphasising human values such as courage and determination, lucid madness, but also intelligence, enthusiasm, romanticism, wisdom, and finally, a love of risk and challenges.
