Wanted by the Associazione Motociclistica Friulana (AMF), on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of its foundation, the volume is a precious document full of photographs and testimonies that reconstruct the history of motorcycling in Friuli from its beginnings - in the 1920s - until 1976, year of the disastrous earthquake that hit the region.
Through the review of the Friulian riders who have ventured into the various specialties, of their bikes, of the different motorcycle clubs and of the races that have been organized over the years, but above all thanks to the reconstruction of personal events and anecdotes, the book gives life to a world in which, with limited means but with a lot of passion, the motorcycle - which has always been synonymous with power and speed - also represented a symbol of freedom, a means with which to demonstrate one's audacity and courage as well as offering the opportunity to tighten solid friendships, that lasted beyond the exuberance and liveliness of the early years.
