Ten years of booming motor race and fearless pilots, are relived among these pages in a roundup of valuable d pictures archive.

The Mille Miglia, Clemente Biondetti's postwar, who won three consecutive editions in 1947, 1948 and 1949, but also that of Tazio Nuvolari, Giannino Marzotto, Alberto Ascari and Stirling Moss.
Finally, the Mille Miglia of the unfortunate Alfonso De Portago, who die in a tragic accident near the finish line, bringing road races cos at the end of an era.
