This book, published in 1994, by John de Boer, with contributions from some of Italy's leading experts, is an interesting compilation of makes and models of Italian road and racing cars, with details of chassis and engine numbers and the names of the first owners. There are also some sections devoted to coachbuilders.
When it comes to racing cars, all the major Italian makes such as Abarth, Cisitalia, Ferrari, Maserati, OSCA, Stanguellini, have models with chassis numbers and footnotes about owners, modifications, noteworthy events etc.
Although it has not been updated since its publication date, it is a veritable goldmine of information, with 352 pages.
