This book offers an opportunity to relive the first thirty years of the Ruote Classiche Club Prato's life and activities, through stories linked to this dynamic association, founded in 1996.
The narrative device chosen by author Tiziano Cherubini is highly original: telling stories and introducing characters that have animated the Club's activities over this long period.
He gives voice to a few classic cars—a Triumph TR3A and an MGB GT (among others)—which, in perfect Cars style, begin to narrate facts, anecdotes and pranks experienced "first-hand" right from the prologue of the book, set in the forecourt of a petrol station.
The scene is set for some of the main events and rallies organised by the Club in these first thirty-five years (such as the 100th anniversary of the Mugello Stradale or La Toscana e le sue Genti), but also prominent personalities like Nanni Galli, Nino Vaccarella and Mauro Forghieri, among others.
The whole thing is enriched by three photographic cahiers, which, in this case, become authentic "albums of memories", and a series of black and white illustrations by Giorgio Serra, known as “Matitaccia”.
