The Aerocar was a travel and commercial trailer designed by aviation pioneer and icon Glenn H. Curtiss, one of the leading engineering minds of the 20th century. Originally designed purely for the inventor's own recreational use, the Aerocar eventually developed into a successful commercial product, which remained in production well after Curtiss's death.

The Curtiss Aerocar was intelligently designed, beautiful to look at, and admired worldwide. It pioneered safe, comfortable, long-distance road travel using aircraft design principles.

Written in partnership with the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum of Hammondsport, New York, this book features many previously unpublished images culled from The Curtiss family archives.
