To tell the story of the 'grand Francorchamps' in words and pictures, and to recover many anecdotes from oblivion, it took three fans of the circuit.
The present volume, first of a trilogy, analyses the beginnings of the circuit, the birth of its mythical races, its rebirth after the war up to the moment when Francorchamps finally acquired permanent infrastructures.
The readers will discover who gave Francorchamps the title of "most beautiful circuit in the world" and who "invented" the Raidillon.
They will also learn about the positive effects of the race by entering the hotels that welcomed the runners.
