This prestigious publication is a design study, critical analysis and picture book of the wide variety of bodywork designs for Ferrari cars.

The work, divided into two volumes and published in a numbered edition, presents 361 period illustrations of models at their first appearance, photographed near Maranello or on the streets of the cities where the coachbuilders were based.
Most of the images of the 110 models illustrated are completely unpublished.
Each of the 16 coachbuilders who have built Ferrari cars is remembered with a short monograph accompanied by images of their work.

The texts are enriched by testimonials from personalities such as Giotto Bizzarrini, Giannino Marzotto, Sergio Scaglietti, Gianni Zagato, etc.
The second volume also includes a special section dedicated to Carrozzeria Vignale, written entirely by Alfredo Zanellato Vignale (Alfredo Vignale's favourite nephew).
