Everyone knows the Espace that has been running the streets for almost twenty years.
But outside of a small circle of insiders, few people know who designed and produced it.
Everyone, rightly, thinks it is a Renault, since it bears the rhombic logo, symbol of the brand. Exactly, but only since 2002. Previously, it was Matra Automobile who assembled it, it was Matra herself who created it.
Since 1984, the year of his first rounds, many European, Asian and American producers have copied it without ever equaling it. A man is at the origin of this success: Philippe Guédon.
He was able to realize his childhood dream: to invent cars. Surrounded by enthusiasts like him, he has to his credit many other achievements such as M. 530, Bagheera, Rancho and his latest challenge, the Avantime.
