Roberto Gallina, rider, team manager, technician-designer, constructor, a polyhedric man who has dedicated much of his life to motorbikes and their different expressions, from the competitive to the technical.

Italian champion and official rider for Motobi, Paton and Benelli, he then set up a team, which, from 1978, managed the official Suzuki bikes in races.

In the role of team manager, he achieved the world title in the 500 class, for two consecutive years, with Marco Lucchinelli and Franco Uncini, in 1981 and 1982.

In this book the authors have tried to highlight both the value of the riders in driving a mechanical machine to the extreme and the skills of the technicians who were able to improve solutions suitable for the race conditions in that unforgettable sporting period.

Moreover, thanks to the testimony of the champions who were part of Team Gallina, impressions and comments regarding that wonderful period spent together have been included in the book, highlighting joys, unpublished situations and even some misunderstandings that have never been revealed.

The new technical concepts are also analyzed, developed in agreement with the designers of the time, with particular attention to electronic injection, an absolute new feature at the time.

An unmissable book for all lovers of that legendary, and very... Tricolore.
