The Monte Carlo Rally is widely regarded as the cradle of global rallying and an event with enormous appeal.
In 1980, at the age of 32, Walter Röhrl and his co-driver Christan Geistdörfer entered the legend, arriving first aboard a Fiat 131 Abarth.
Unbeatable crew this season, they also won the world title. Three more victories would follow in the years 82-84, each time on a different brand rally car.
40 years after their first victory, the two 'at full throttle' took a trip back in time and in 2020 they took part in the Monte Carlo Historique Rally, this time with the Porsche 911 SC.
Needless to say, there was only one goal: to eventually receive the trophy from the prince's hand.
