They go onto the track to prove that they are better and faster than any other on the world, aware that to do so they risk their lives at every curve, every straight, every overtaking. They are men from every continent, with their own characters and principles, their strengths and weaknesses.
Once upon a time, the "cavalieri del rischio" (knights of risk) raced in powerful, noisy racing cars made of welded tubes and riveted panels. Today they are similar to Top Guns speeding across asphalt skies: they drive sophisticated, technological, less noisy and less polluting machines, but more powerful, faster, safer.
Trapeze drivers without a net, because a mistake, a misunderstanding, a mechanical failure can be fatal.
